For one, I hate having my picture taken.  How awful is it that I'd rather post this picture of me in that oh so stylish dress with cake on my face than dig up something more recent?  Man, flower girl dresses have come a long way.  But back then, I was as proud as can be of both that rockin' dress and dance moves.  Watch out momma!

Nowadays, I'm much happier behind the camera.  I take more pictures than I care to admit, and long ago abandoned my purse for a camera bag.  Along with my husband and kids, I love bad television shows, rad music, and new playgrounds. I have formal degrees in fine art and architecture.  Although my photography class was a favorite, the day my daughter was born my camera took on new meaning.  My favorite images catch laughter, light, and feel real.  I want to get to know who I'm shooting, find out what makes them happy, and snap!
